Our theme for July is creating healthy boundaries and it’s about time. Many of our problems just melt away when we learn how to develop and execute a healthy boundary. Here at Coventry we call it staying in your own tea cup.
Cancer is the sign of nurturing, protecting and sustaining. This is exactly what we need when we are faced with a life change. It doesn’t matter if it was planned or completely unexpected, we all have our feelings about change. Like the crab, seek shelter when you’ve become overwhelmed with all the new information and feelings bombarding you.
Transition is the process in which something changes from one state to another. Our state of being is transitory. Rarely are we completely stagnant. Something about us is always in process. It could be as deep as a change of mind or as superficial as a change of clothes.
The Scorpion Moon will show us how it’s done when it comes to being an empowered individual. No other zodiac sign goes more deeply in the psyche and roots around in the back of the Akashic closets than this one. Because of the influence of Scorpio on the full moon we will not become empowered because we’re smarter, or prettier or wealthier.
I’m of two minds when it comes to talking about personal power. That’s what happens during a new moon in Gemini. We get an opportunity to look at both sides of the coin and compare the two perspectives. I caution you to be careful and don’t get tricked into undoing something beautiful.
Counteracting feelings of being overwhelmed with a Taurus new moon is an exercise in adoring everything about being alive on such a beautiful and bountiful planet. February is when we honor Dorothy Morrison. We all love Dorothy for all the ways she helps us, and the ways she does it with the kind of humor that crosses all cultures. I know this because I’ve seen people from all walks of life, chuckle, and giggle or nudge their friend with that smile and nod when they read the labels on the Wicked Witch Mojo Candles.
Take a tip from Dorothy Morrison and let your charmed life include being generous, understanding, and tolerant of others with a touch of Come to Mama
